The Not-So-Manic Monday

Happy Monday LMC readers!  Fall is in the air, the birds are chirping outside and I have a desk chair to sit on....and toilet paper holders in my bathroom finally!  It's the little things right?

So before you think I am absolutely crazy, let me explain what I have been up to the last few weeks in hopes that you can forgive me for my recent disappearing act in the blogosphere.

The boy and I closed on our dream house that we have been building for almost two years, we went to Germany for two weeks, I had three weddings in two weeks, a few wrap up design projects to do, and then directly went to High Point Market last week to shop for upcoming design clients.  This was all condensed in about a months time!  We moved into our home after we got back from Germany and then the whirlwind began!

I will say, it was a lot to handle, but all weddings, design projects and house moving went off without a hitch and I CAN'T WAIT to share it all with you!!!  I don't even know where to begin! Along with this fabulous news comes a national publication of an LMC Wedding in Charleston Style and Design magazine!  Be looking out for that blog post this week!  With all this craziness however, comes a lot of gratefulness as there is no way possible I could have done any of this without my supportive husband, family and friends.  Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. The boy even worked a wedding for me as I needed a last minute extra hand to make sure it ran smoothly (he looks great in all black by the way).

In the coming weeks, I will be blogging about my finds at High Point Market, October weddings, sneak peaks of my house and new office and lots of Holiday ideas that I have been saving up for the season so be sure to subscribe to my blog posts!  In the meantime, below are some photos of what I have been up to lately!

Until then...

XO,

Wedding Wednesdays: The Floral Print Trend

Over the past year or two, I have seen a trend that has continue to get larger and evolve into something so stunning when it comes to wedding decor.  The Floral Print Trend as many may call it, has been a part of many runways, home interiors and weddings and has only built up even more steam this past year.

Lauren M. Creative Blog - Floral Print Trend

Flowers are by far one of my favorite parts about the decor of a wedding.  They are so full of color, and life, and tie in so many other elements of the tables and design.  I adore a mixture of colors and so it is no surprise to me that I have fallen in love with floral pattern as well.

This lovely print that has so many brides gasping for air, has me doing the same and taking the time do my research, to find some of my favorite inspiration photos of this print.  I hope you enjoy!
